A practical guide to the Sanrio Hello Kitty Fantasy Collection Mascot Strap Blind Box, including what's inside, how to buy, and who it's best for.
Quick answer
The Sanrio Hello Kitty Fantasy Collection Mascot Strap Blind Box offers 7 regular designs and 1 secret design, sold individually or as a full set. Buy a full set for a 10% discount and 7 non-repeating designs, but remember the secret figure is random and not guaranteed.
Why choose the Fantasy Collection over other Sanrio blind boxes?
This series focuses exclusively on Hello Kitty in fantasy-themed outfits, making it ideal for dedicated Hello Kitty fans who want a cohesive collection. Unlike mixed-character Sanrio blind boxes, every pull is a Hello Kitty variant, so you won't get a different character you don't collect.
The trade-off of buying individual blind boxes
If you buy single blind boxes, you pay USD 8.03 each and receive one random design. This is great for casual collectors or gift-givers who don't mind duplicates. However, if you're aiming for a specific design or want to avoid repeats, the randomness makes it harder to complete the set.
Why the full set might be better for serious collectors
The full set costs USD 57.82 (after the 10% discount) and includes 8 boxes: 7 non-repeating designs plus a chance at the secret. You save money per box and avoid duplicates of the regular designs. The catch is that the secret figure is still random and may not be included.
How to decide which option to buy
- Buy single blind boxes if…: You want to try your luck with a small budget (USD 8.03 per box) or you're buying a surprise gift and don't mind which design appears.
- Buy the full set if…: You want 7 different designs, want to save 10% compared to buying 8 singles, and are willing to accept that the secret figure may or may not be included. The full set is the most efficient way to avoid regular duplicates.
- Skip this series if…: You prefer a variety of Sanrio characters or you need a guaranteed secret figure. This box only contains Hello Kitty, and the secret is never guaranteed. Look for mixed-character blind boxes or full-set guarantees elsewhere.
