Pop Mart GONG Evangelion Pilot Series

Didn't expect much from a blind box but the paint job on the Eva unit is genuinely sharp, way better than the little figures I used to collect. The secret chase being 1 in 12 boxes is brutal though, so now I'm stuck buying more.

I grabbed a single box hoping for one of the six common pilots and got Asuka on my first try, paint job is crisp with no smudges. The figure sits nicely on my desk shelf, though now I'm tempted to go back for the full set.

The secret design odds had me nervous, but my box pulled one of the six common pilots and the paint job on the plugsuit is sharper than the promo shots suggested. Base is sturdy too, so it actually stands on the shelf without tipping.
