EAKI's Pet Pavilion plush keychain blind box has six regular designs plus a secret. Learn when to buy a single box, when a full set makes sense, and what to expect.
Quick answer
Buy a single EAKI The Apothecary Diaries Pet Pavilion Series Plush Keychain Blind Box if you enjoy the surprise and want a low-cost entry into Apothecary Diaries merch. Choose the full set only if you want six non-repeating regular designs and can accept that the secret design is not guaranteed.
What the Pet Pavilion lineup actually contains
The EAKI Pet Pavilion series is built around six regular plush keychain designs and one secret design. A single blind box gives you one random design, not a full set. That distinction matters because the product page does not list individual design names, so you cannot request a specific character or pet when buying a single box.
The full set is the only way to guarantee six non-repeating regular designs. It also carries a 10% discount, which makes the per-keychain cost lower than buying six single boxes. However, the secret figure is distributed randomly and may not appear in an assorted full set. If the secret is your only goal, a full set does not guarantee it.
Single box vs. full set: the real trade-off
A single box is the better test purchase. You get one random plush keychain at USD 13.99, compared with a catalog comparison price of USD 19.99. That lower entry price lets you judge the plush size, stitching, and keychain hardware before committing to more.
A full set removes duplicate regular designs and lowers the unit price through the 10% discount, but it costs more upfront and still leaves the secret as a maybe. The right choice depends on whether you value variety over certainty, and whether you are collecting for yourself or buying a gift where duplicates would be awkward.
Why the Apothecary Diaries license changes the decision
Apothecary Diaries merch often sells out or gets marked up because the series has a dedicated fan base. This EAKI release is a plush keychain format, which is more portable and giftable than a statue or figure. That makes it a practical first purchase for someone who wants a small, usable piece of Apothecary Diaries merch rather than a display-only collectible.
The trade-off is that plush keychains show wear faster if you actually clip them to a bag. If you plan to use it daily, expect the fabric and hardware to age. If you want to keep it pristine, treat it as a small display piece instead.
Decision rules for buying the Pet Pavilion blind box
- If you are new to Apothecary Diaries merch: Start with one blind box at USD 13.99. It is the lowest-cost way to check the plush quality and keychain hardware before buying more.
- If duplicate regular designs would bother you: Buy the full set. It guarantees six non-repeating regular designs and applies a 10% discount, so you avoid paying for repeats.
- If the secret design is your main reason to buy: Do not assume a full set includes it. The secret is distributed randomly and may not appear in an assorted full set, so buy only if you are fine with the regular designs. Check the product page for any updated secret-ratio wording before ordering.
- If you are buying as a gift: A single blind box works as a small surprise gift. A full set works better when you want to give several keychains at once, but confirm the recipient is happy with random designs.
