Quick Answer
Bandai Itajaga Dragon Ball Vol. 10 is a fun, affordable way to collect Dragon Ball cards, with 30 designs including 2 secrets and a snack in every pack. If you want a complete set, buy the full box for 20 packs and a 10% discount.
Why Vol. 10 Stands Out
This release gives you 30 different card designs to chase, plus 2 secret types that add a surprise element. Each pack includes one random metallic card and a salad-flavored snack, so you get both a collectible and a treat in one purchase.
Because it's a mystery bag item, you can't choose which cards you get. That's part of the fun, but it also means duplicates are possible, especially if you buy just a few packs.
Full Box vs. Single Packs
If you're aiming to complete the set, buying the full box makes sense. You get 20 packs and a 10% discount, which improves your odds of pulling more designs, including the secrets. Single packs are great for casual collectors who just want a quick surprise without a bigger commitment.
Decision Rules for Collectors
- Goal: Complete the set: Buy the full box (20 packs) to get the 10% discount and a better chance of pulling all 30 designs, including the 2 secrets. Compare the box price per pack to single-pack prices to confirm the savings.
- Goal: Casual collecting: Start with 1-3 single packs to enjoy the surprise. You'll likely get duplicates, but that's part of the mystery. Set a budget for how many packs you're willing to buy before you start.
- Goal: Avoid duplicates: Since you can't choose designs, expect duplicates with single packs. The full box reduces the chance of repeats but doesn't guarantee a complete set. If duplicates bother you, consider trading with other collectors to fill gaps.
